Arches National Park completed the trifecta of national parks we visited in Utah. I wasn’t sure I would be impressed or see anything different than we had already seen at the previous two parks.

The day was hot and sunny. The perfect day to highlight the beauty of Arches NP.

Here is a view of the La Sal Mountains.

I loved how there were rock formations just out by themselves.

I think that this looks like a trio of aliens. It’s the Three Gossips.

This is the site of a suspected fallen arch. Arches has the largest number of arches in the world. There are over 2,000. If you look closely at the bottom of the rock on the left, you can see a baby arch.

This is Balanced Rock. One day, it will fall because the rock underneath is softer.

This is Delicate Arch. It is very small (or at least seemed so from my vantage point). I almost missed it from the overlook.

I have to say that Arches didn’t disappoint. It’s too bad that we couldn’t walk any trails because I think it would have been cool to walk among these rocks.
Sorry that I didn’t capture any flying birds this time.
