Our destination after Utah was Colorado. After spending a few weeks in the beauty of Utah, we were underwhelmed upon entering Colorado. Fortunately, there was a different kind of beauty just a few hours away. But first, we had to find a place to stay. There was free BLM land very close to the nextContinue reading “Black Canyon”

Sunsets Over the Teton Range
We were fortunate enough to be able to boondock in the Bridger-Teton National Forest outside of the National Elk Refuge. We had uninterrupted views of the Teton Range, including Grand Teton. The number of butterflies I’ve seen since just before Spring sprung is phenomenal. I never realized that butterflies gathered together until I would see flocks(?) of them rise upContinue reading “Butteflies In the Forest”
Sad Trees and Waterfalls
It’s been a while since I posted anything. (I meant to post this one before the “Stranded” post.) Not because I’ve had nothing to post. In fact, I have quite a few posts rolling around in my head. Where we’ve been as of late has almost no cell reception. I decided to try something differentContinue reading “Sad Trees and Waterfalls”
